BIO:
Lindsey is a Brooklyn-based yoga practitioner from Washington, D.C. Her early training as an athlete prioritized strength, rigor, and “winning.” Lindsey’s journey with yoga is one of letting go and learning to breathe and embrace the process.
She enjoys teaching power vinyasa-style yoga with an emphasis on building strength and increasing mobility, but the ultimate aim in any of her classes is freedom of the mind and body. If it doesn’t free us, she’s probably not interested.
Lately, Lindsey’s personal and teaching practices have focused on balancing, sometimes dancing, between effort and ease. She loves helping others build and fortify intentional mind-body connections, creating opportunities for self-study, self-acceptance, and self-love.
Lindsey graduated from NYU with a B.A. in Classical Civilizations (Latin & Greek), and Broadcast Journalism. She loves giving hands-on assists, and will talk your ear off about flying trapeze and all things circus.
